* POINTS - Lenders allow the borrower to lower the interest rate on the Mortgage Loan by paying a fee up front at closing know as "Points". One "Point" equals 1% of the Principal amount of the Mortgage Loan. So 2 "Points" on a $200,000 loan is equal to $4,000. The greater the "Points" paid up front by the borrower, the lower the interest rate on the loan.
  
** Special "Intro" Rate - is a lower than current market interest rate this is offered for a specific short term period of time of 3 to 6 months.
  
"APR" Is the actual interest cost of the loan to the borrower when all the costs associated with the loan are taken into account. 50 Year Mortgage Loans are new and not available in all areas. Check with the local Mortgage Broker or Company to see if they offer the new 50 Year Loan yet.
